Hibiscus can help improve skin elasticity by stopping elastase, the enzyme that breaks down your skin's elasticity. Through this process, hibiscus firms and lifts the skin, two ways skin maintains its youthfulness. 

This powerful plant is also a great exfoliator because of the natural acids found in hibiscus. Together, citric and malic acid, gently even skin tone by increasing cell turnover.

Ever heard of anthocyanocides? These antioxidants are anti-inflammatory, help fight free radicals, and help soothe inflamed skin. 

Hibiscus is a well-known moisturizer. By helping the skin retain moisture, hibiscus can help your complexion looking young and radiant.

As a more traditional mask, it can be applied to the face and left on for 5-10 minutes before removing. 

It can also be used as a polish by applying it to the face in circular motion and rinsed off immediately. 

Simply put a tablespoon in the palm of your hand, or in a face mask mixing bowl, add a few drops of water, mix, and apply!
